PictureShow
PictureShow is fairly robust app, offering a variety of filter pre-sets, frames, and more. I can't say how long I've had this app, but it's been at least a year or more. I really enjoy a handful of the filters, when I want a specific effect and there's a couple of frames that I really dig too.I have only ever really used this app for post-production. In my preparation of these notes today I've made the realisation that it does even more than I thought. If you choose to use this as a camera replacement app, the app offers the following four "toy camera" kind of lenses: Single Shot, Quad, Vertical Quad, Multiple Exposure and HalfShot.Starting from the mainscreen here's a break down of the options…The Heart icon allows you to favourite a setting, so if you've created an edit that you really like and think you'd want to use again in the future, this is the way to save it.Presets: Tap on Original to load your preset options. Simply tap on whatever word is here to load the drop down list of 45, yep, that's right, 45 presets.Reset: If you don't like the previously used edit on your current photo just click the reload (reset) rounded arrow to the right of the preset name.Shuffle: Use this to let the app select a random preset for you.Photo: Tap on this to either take a new photo or import a photo from your camera roll.Style: This includes a few options- Frame: 20+ Frame options- Light: 10 Light Leak effects- Noise/Grunge/Texture: 10+ effects- Vignet: Brighten or Darken the corners of the image- Reset: Reset the controls to start over**There's also a little slider on the right, tap on this to hide the previews of the effects to see the full image.Color: This includes options to control the following items:Red/Green/Blue colour channels, Brightness & Contrast.
