Exploring watercolour painting, medidation, and creative visualisation.

Growing up the child of an artist, and a photographer/musician meant I had access to a variety of creative tools. When I was very young I was drawn to singing and music, first.

I spent the majority of my childhood exploring these disciplines.

When it came to my career, photography made more sense, and I was good at it.

With painting, I let my fear of not being good at it, stop me from really exploring the medium. In 2021, I let go of that fear and made the realization I just wanted to have fun, you know, like a hobby!

Now in 2024, I’m painting, something, daily, and I am hosting monthly gatherings.

Building Community

As I began to dive into watercolour painting, I found I wanted to meet other artists, and gather and create together. In the fall of 2022, I hosted my first Watercolour and Wine event. It was a blast!

My goals are to host occasional watercolour gatherings in the Seattle area.

These are designed to share a love of creativity, conversation, & connection.

I realized I didn’t have to be good at it, as long as I was enjoying it, as long as I was having fun.
